Twelve teams will participate in women’s part of the tournament and nineteen teams in men’s part. These teams are coming from eleven European nations.
Participating clubs coming from Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and United Kingdom, will fight for the European Club Champion titles on Saturday and Sunday, starting early in the morning local time. This tournament will be played on four pitches.
The teams will first meet in the group stage, which will give the standings according to which the next round will be played and so on until the gold medal match which will be played on Sunday.
In men’s part of the tournament the following clubs will play:
Group A: Acigne, KRM Essen, Kayak Polo Barra, Kilcock Demons, Pro Scogli Chiavari
Group B: FOA, IRWV Ieper, Montpellier, WSF Liblar, Wild Water Kayak Club
Group C: Club Vallehermoso Retiro, Kingston, Thurgauer Wildwasserfahrer, UKS SET Kaniow, Viking Venlo
Group D: Club Madrileno Ciencias, Gent, Odysseus A, Polisportiva Canottieri Catania Team
In women’s part of the tournament the following clubs will play:
Group A: CD Loire-Atlantique IF, Meridian, Wild Water Kayak Club
Group B: Club Madrileno Ciencias, FOA, KV Keistad
Group C: ACC Hamburg, Canoe Rovigo women, Montpellier
Group D: A.D. Pinatarense, PSC Cobur-Schney, Polisportiva Canottieri Catania Team
